Magister in Artistic Studies at the Superior Arts Academy of Bogota, Distrital University (Colombia). Afrofeminist researcher and creator. She studiesd Acting Degree at National School of Theatrical Art in the National Institute of Fine Arts and Dramatic Literature and Theater Degree at the Autonomous National University of Mexico in the Stage Direction area.
She has made various participations with her Afro-feminine research work as a speaker and artist in Meetings and Colloquiums in Mexico, Colombia and Honduras. She completed the "Performative Practices" Diploma from the Goethe Institute and IDARTES (Colombia) and the "Physical Theatre" Diploma from IUGTE (Lithuania); She specializes in “Corsical Voices” and “Gaga Dance” at the Jerzy Grotowsky Institute (Poland); She is Co-founder of the Gitanos Teatro collective with whom she has carried out various productions and workshops focused on subaltern theater.
Her musical training is carried out at the School of Traditional Mexican Music and the Vallenata Music School of Colombia. As an accordionist, she has made musical interventions in different artistic processes, collaborations and is currently part of the feminist musical group "Corroncha Son" with whom she has performed on various stages nationally and internationally.
Actually, she is doing a PhD in Latin American Studies in the area of culture and artistic process.
