In Cuernavaca, Morelos was presented the show of Dance an Puppets “Traveling into african and indigenous tales and stories” which was led by Marissa Gutiérrez. In spite of being a hard access zone, some persons interested in the activity, arrived and shared a friendly space. This activity allows discussion of several reflections about cultural events to afrodescendant persons, because the public spaces should be by the community to make activities such as theater, dance, cinema or other workshops.
In addition, the event was focused on the number of scenic projects “Traveling in tales”, which is a mix of two african and one indigenous legend, using puppets of different animations techs and dance inspired in traditionally african rhythms. Here the public could appreciate that there exists other persons as the family who are acting in the story who are engaged to research world dances and their similarities. This event allows meaningful feedback for community and recognize the work who lead this project.
